About Royal Oaks Academy

Royal Oaks Academy was established in 1997 to assist parents who choose home education as the best way to fulfill their God-given privilege and responsibility of overseeing the education of their children.

As a private school offering a satellite program (PSP), Royal Oaks offers enrollment, record keeping accountability, educational guidance, encouragement and support for the parent-teacher.

In 2006 Royal Oaks Academy started offering an On-Site Private School Satellte Program for high school aged children who are having difficulty in the public or private school system and whose parents cannot home school their own.

Non-credentialed but experienced adult teaching assistants ensure each student learns, understands, and passes all subjects required by the state of California for graduation from high school. Subject planning, progress reports, semester grades and diplomas are provided.

Our Philosophy of Education

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."  (Proverbs 9:10 - NASB)

Royal Oaks Academy adheres to the educational rules and regulations of the state of California which  are designed to ensure that graduates are capable of functioning to the best of their abiltiy as productive citizens in the society in which they live. As Christians we embrace these goals but also seek to attain those more noble and eternal. To accomplish this Royal Oaks Academy is committed to not only ensuring the educational requirements for the state of California are fulfilled but also assisting parents in:

- TEACHING their
children daily about the Living God
- GUIDING them into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- HELPING them to know fully who they are in Christ and as a child of the King
- ENCOURAGING them to grow in God’s wisdom, grace and discernment

The ultimate goal of all instruction is to ensure our children are able to tell the truth from a lie, the genuine from the counterfeit, and prefer that which is true and honorable over that which is false and disgraceful. These are the chief and noble aims of our jobs as Christian parents and teachers.

"And what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8 - NASB)
